Yea the DIY mods don't bother me. Like @BMRisko said, I have seen some down right awful work come out of otherwise known "reputable" shops.

Completely agree, there is reason I don’t take my cars to local shops unless I know they are really good. It’s dealer or do it myself. Why? Because I spent too much money at shops and still have to fix it myself.

Agreed, as long as one knows what they are doing and has the right tools to pull it off. I've seen too many DYI hack jobs.
