Question is all in title.

The A/C is barely cooling the crew cab.

It stinks compared to my ‘97 FZJ80.

Anybody else have issues of 5.7 motor A/C units??

— Or do the G2 Tundra / Sequoia just stink at A/C ??

My prior 2011 Crewmax 5.7 was always good not great, but I live in the South and parked it outside for most of its life. My current 2016 Sequoia is fantastic, my family regularly complains about being cold.

If it's not performing well definitely worth a charge/leak check. If vent output isn't good enough check cabin filter as well.

2019 Tundra takes time to cool sufficiently in 90+ temps. 2022 Sequoia (still V8) is much more robust. But it also has an extra electric cooler mounted there for A/C.
