any of the consoles will take a bit to bolt it, but it can be done. we did the large console and bolted it to the stock console bracket in the raffle vehicle. threw away the bracket that tuffy supplies

Has anyone actually mounted one of these in a 62? If so, I'm assuming it means the rear heater needs to be ripped out?

I'm trying to assess the level of difficulty and customization required. Which specific model of the Tuffy (I see various sizes) is the least difficult to install. Any pics or walkthroughs of how it was done? (I searched and came up empty).

Don't have any personal experience with 62 but these are just some threads I've come across in my time on MUD.

I have a Tuffy in my 62 and am still retaining the factory rear heater. All you need is to make a simple bracket to bolt down onto and bend the temp control arm slightly to clear the Tuffy. Actually looks pretty factory.

I have a tuffy console in my 62 and retained the stock rear heater for awhile. I eventually ripped it out and used the space below for wiring.
