Meeting at the Tanque Verde Circle K sometime around 7:30, pull out by 8:00 and heading for Chimney Rock. Should be a lot of fun to run the trail with plenty of water.

Forecast calls for rain Saturday and Sunday, and a high on Sunday in the chilly low 90's.

So far it here's who's going for sure:
Me (a.mus.ed) - 80
Chuck (Rocky_LC) - 40
Tim (tmac on AZFJ) - FJC
Jim & Kim (Cyrus16 on AZFJ) - FJC
Phil (BZBCruiser on AZFJ) - FJC
CrazyMoFo (Chuck's Friend) - Geo Tracker

Maybes:
Andy - Jeep
Relix - 40 (i'm assuming)

These AZFJ guys are showing up the CSCs, let's get some more representation from here!

I'm stoked for the run since it sounds like I'll get to meet so many of you for the first time. And the trail will be awesome too.

or you could come out topless;) [chanting]show us your rack! show us your rack![/chanting]

i've got my fingers crossed for rain, i'll cross my other fingers for UPS.

Awesome! I'll be there at 7:30, I was thinking we'd leave at 8. No worries anyway, chances of us leaving on time were never good - not if I understand how this group works.

Relix, you get your top in? Can we expect to see you in the morning? I have shotgun open in my truck if you can make it but don't wanna drive yours without a top.

I got my cb installed finally, so I'll have it on ch. 16 in the morning in case anyone else wants to tune in. Also, if you need to call my cell is 520 360 1539. Funny story on the cb install - only I can start a cb install and end up with no working stereo, clock, or cb...

It's been pouring all over Southern AZ today, so I think we're going to have plenty of water in the washes tomorrow.

See you in the morning!

First Pictures

Since I didn't have a passenger - my pictures were mostly at the stops - so they aren't very exciting.

The trip was fun - a beautiful day, not too hot, with some water in the canyon (Less tha nI expected, after last night's rain). Nine vehicles showed up- everyone had fun.

The Geo Tracker did well - it was well equipped for the trip...

Pictures attached.

awesome day!

Today was a lot of fun! Why don't we do this more often?
Chuck said it - 9 vehicles along: 4 FJ's, and one each of 40, 80, Jeep, Geo, and Taco. Everyone did great, even through some pretty rough spots left behind from the recent rains.
Here's a few pics I took:
