what are the chances the 2019 cruiser gets the updated TSS? I am ready to put down a deposit as soon as it’s announced. It seems crazy the 2019 Corolla would have significantly better tech than the cruiser.

I assume much of the technology will spread to the entire line, but it will take time. The Lane Tracing Assist would be unlikely to make it to the LC in the short term, as it likely depends on electronic power steering — the LC has hydraulic steering.

Given the LC’s small volume and unique architecture, it wouldn’t surprise me if these technologies don’t make it to the LC until it is refreshed.

Lane assist is awful anyways. I turned that off immediately in a car I had with it.

I want less electronics, not more.

I looked a the list of new stuff and did not see anything significantly better, just some marginal partial autonomous driving features. The LC has a remarkable suite of TSS already, so don't make a buy decision based on some relatively minor updating. Look at what's in the LC now and you'll be amazed.
