I was never a fan of the long sleeve tee shirt until the OTMT shirts. I like um too. The current logo and colors also. Yeah, drop the Upstate association "disclaimer" don't want anyone that close to read it anyway.

It has to have the A DIVISION OF UPSTATE CRUISERS on it....we can get rid of the red dot (UC Logo) but must keep the statement either there or elsewhere on the design.
I will get with BBQBoy to get copy of finished proof to submit for approval so we can move forward with tshirts and stickers and such....if he is willing to give it to me or Dbenke.
Until we get approval please do not print any shirts with that image...thank you for your cooperation.

So is this what everyone wants?
1- removed UC red dot on back window and along coastline
2- removed sand/tan background
3- removed shadowing
4- worked on contrast and brightness
I submitted for approval...so need to make sure before we move forward after approval on shirts, hoodies and stickers.

Now just add back in the tan
and the red dot and everone will be happy. Just kidding but I think this group ruined what was a really good logo. But just my .02 Really doesn't matter I will gladly put it on the cruiser and wear our colors with pride even if you did take out my favorite color!!!

the red dot needed to come out no matter what...it was old UC logo and cost extra money to print due to being a unique color in our logo scheme.
the tan background is easy fix....can go either way. Once it is done it is done though....so bring your comments to the meeting on 28 Feb and we will take a vote of members in attendance.

Okay....who wants to take on the task of taking the logo I have and getting a price on shirts for the club.
Right now need someone to get prices on tshirts....guessing long sleeve tshirts if we do them now but if we wait until spring will be short sleeved....
i know bbqboy, belmont and gregfrench have all been involved at one point.....just need someone to handle the whole deal short of paying for shirts. Then we can order the sizes we want and collect the money from our membership...and do the deed.

I can get my next door neighbor to price them out. The only problem we will come across is he does digital printing meaning the logo may wear faster and you can not bleach the shirt.

I can go to the same shop that did the BOIL shirts and have some priced out there as well...and see what the difference might be.
I dont mind paying a little more for something that will last a couple years.... I am not familiar with the digital setup you mention for wearability/ruggedness of the artwork

really? how long we talking for them to last versus cost of shirts in your opinion?
Get a price from your shop Brock and we can see how they compare to the one I found.
Did we decide yet on a layout? Did we abandon the quote I had come up with earlier?

not really....we got the club logo sorted. now to decide if we want the club logo on back with Lowcountry Land Cruisers on front.....or your saying....or the Japanese logo or what.
Simple is best for a utilitarian shirt to be worn everywhere....

Here is my .02 suggestion....
Tan shirt (i.e. long and short)
Front pocket logo using tan shirt as infill on logo (i.e. 3 color screen, blue, black, white)
TEQ logo on back high between shoulder blades in red/white
Quote underneath "After Landcruiser, Everything Changed" in black
Money could be saved with a white shirt as the need for a white screen would be eliminated. Of course Doc and I would lose our beloved tan.
Of course the cost may rise, but I think that would make a nice group shirt. Plus the red on the back will be eye catching and make people want to read your shirt. Hence advertising. I think duplicate logos on the front and back is a little generic.
Whatever the end result is, I am in for a few.
