I know this is going to be a shot in the dark, but does anyone know where this seep may be coming from or where else to start looking? I am on the drivers side with my head towards the rear of the vehicle. Tough to get some decent pictures, so apologies.

That location is typically the timing chain cover

Darn it - seems to be a pretty pricey repair. Thanks for the wisdom.

You might want to just clean up and see how bad it really is or have you had vehicle it's whole life?

Yeah, I read the thread you posted and will just clean it up for now. I have owned it less than a year, but it has an extensive Lexus dealership service history. Surprisingly, the service technician/service advisor that I see locally have never mentioned the seeping.

TBH.. not uncommon to "not hear" this being reported by tech... that aside this could be an accumulation over quite an extended period.

I'd pick up some brake cleaner and use some old rags to clean it up really good top to bottom to see if problem is worth throwing money at.
