Yep, they got into my truck the saturday before last. I park on the street and I left the truck unlocked(probably a good thing, no damage). They didn't get the stereo but did get the CD case w/ 100 CD's. I live in Stockton so I should know better. 90% certian it was the little sh*ts down the street.

I quit locking mine. Last time I was replacing the window in the rain. Just remember to pull the face plate. I only put copies of cd's in there as well.

My new plan as well. Get a tuffy box for valuables and leave it un locked with alarm activated. jack ass will open door alarm will sound and I will emerge armed to the hilt.

The tuffy console is the way to go...and leave the factory radio in the dash looks like its all you have. Don't drive around bumpn'. Also I've learned that by keeping my truck lookin' pretty third world people look but stay away....noone parks next to me or cuts me off.......and besides i like the dirty looks I get......But if all else fails.....night vision goggles and an Ak-47.....keep your shovel ready....and a plastic tarp....call me if you need a hand

I don't need a shovel here in TX. I'll just have my wife call 911 on my way out the door and say someone is breaking into our car and my husband is running out heavily armed. Cops will be there in minutes and I will either have people to hand cuff and cart off or the hearse will take them away. pretty hard to surive highh velocity rifle rounds.

You gotta catch him before you can shoot him. Before you install your new deck, glue/solder a bunch of fish hooks to the back of it. When butthead reaches under your dash to tear it out, you'll catch him. Even if he gets away, it'll be rewarding to find all the DNA evidence.

I got ripped off last week too. Broke the passenger window, the trunk was open. Doh! Tuffy is the way for me too.

My roommate last year got his stereo ripped off so many times that he glued razor blades to the back of the deck. They took the whole car the next time, but there was blood everywhere in it when it was found (totalled).
