Has anyone driven both an HZJ75 and HZJ78? We're just a few years away from being able to import the 78 with front coils, and I'm wondering how the ride compares between them. Can a well tuned 75 come close to a 78?

My HZJ78 was so brutally stiff in the suspension department before I put Terrain Tamer springs and shocks on it. I would imagine a 75 is similar? The transmission is less HD on the 78 as well, from what I understand.Has anyone driven both an HZJ75 and HZJ78? Thanks @Buckow that's interesting perspective. I'm assuming springs/shocks will need to be replaced on a 75 regardless but good to know a stock 78 isn't perfect either. Great point about the gearbox as well.My HZJ78 was so brutally stiff in the suspension department before I put Terrain Tamer springs and shocks on it. I would imagine a 75 is similar? What kind of suspension you running? My 85 HJ75 Ute is pretty stiff with a still pretty new Dobinson 2” suspension. I even removed one leaf out of each pack per instructions from Dobinson.I have owned both the 78 and currently the 75. With good shocks/springs the 75 is a pleasure to drive!
