I'm hoping someone has some info on the length of the 1/4 panels on a 47 series troop carrier.
I have a bj42 that I will lengthen the frame on and xtra roof panels, however I could guess with the known wheel base and estimate the rest but it would be alot easier if someone already knew !

The distance from the where the door closes (latch)to the centre of wheel and
The distance from the where the door closes (latch) to the rear of the truck.

Can anyone help ?
Cheers

Jmac - From the start of the quarter panel behind door post - to the bend in the back: 91 5/8"

I put a straight edge along the back of the truck, perpendicular to the length of the quarter panel. Measured from door post to the straight edge. If this is clear as mud I'll take another pic.

The quarter panels on my troopy have been replaced with 3/16" steel, so the measurement may not be exact to oem, but should be close.

Sweet ! that helps , now I can get started on the drawings and laying out the roof side panels and 1/4 panels.
With work in the way this will be a slow build but I will photo doc/mud the build.
Cheers !
