We have a '63 Triumph Sports 6 that my father in law gave us about 6 years ago, I havent done much on it since I started tearing apart our FJ40, But I hope to start working on it soon.
I will scan some pics and post them up.

Looks like you have a good base from which to start. I'm an old Triumph-head (although the Sport Six is one of the few I have never owned). When I was a kid my mom was co-owner of the Leyland dealership in Niagara Falls. It was at the low-point of BL, and I could tell you some stories........

I owned a 1973 triumph spitfire 1500 for many years...i worked on all BL vehicles for a few years for a company called Britannia on long island.

Hey there,
I'm new here and finding my way out!
Since january 2011 i'm the proud owner of a Sports 6 (1964). It is still equiped with the Solex carburators!
I'm searching for a few parts which i cannot get here in Europe...
Can anyone tell me i.e. where to get the "Sports-badge"?

Welcome Marc.
That is a fine looking Sports 6, Very solid, I traded my semi down draft Solex for ZS carbs, Honestly I don't believe I have ever seen the Solex air filter.
About the Sport badges, Have you tried Rimmer Bros, or Canley Classics? Thats all I can think of off hand, I'm sure there are plenty of other smaller shops around.

I dont know if this guy had any vitesse...i was looking for my spitfire at the time...he had literally 1000's of british cars and trucks ranging from mini to jags...he had it ALL

he was someplace either near syracuse or rochester NY...i could try and find it if your interested.
