The windows came loose from their little motor hinge things, and I'm looking at the FSM and it tells me to take apart the entire interior just to get to that one stupid part... Anyone got a hack for this job?

Mine were loose and rattling. I opened the window and carefully bent the brackets back with big channel locks. I just pinched the metal bracket back together into the holes. They are tight now for the last 6 months and I have them open everyday now. Bouncing up and down loosened the bracket over time. At least that was my issue and it was an easy fix. Maybe that helps.

Awesome tip. Thanks.

I was also able to tighten the big knob that holds the glass to the bracket by clamping a phillips bit in vice grips and surgically turning the screw.

Got the whole thing done in ten minutes.
