Just like that, it's July. Sorry for the late post!

Does everyone like Rally Point? It's pretty close to the middle for Raleigh-ites and the rest of us, so I'm cool with it.

Rally Point, Wednesday, July 2nd, 7:30pm. Sound good? Who can make it?

I may or may not be able to stop by. Leaving for Kentucky the next morning. Gonna go hit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail for the 4th. :bounce:

I actually might be able t make it this month!

Maybe the I met at bottle revolution will come....said johnny is helping him with engine.

If anyone has time after beers I'd appreciate any advice on where to start with vacuum leak / desmog process on the 40. I'm just now starting to read up on it.

Yeah, that's Tim. I'll text him, but I think he's gonna be able to make it.

Its actually my birthday tomorrow so I may or may not be able to stop by. If I am it will just be for a beer or two. I am fairly certain with wife and kids have something planned. Have to see what the wife says.

I might come if I can stay awake... It'd be much easier if these were at 5:30. :)

So we've got myself and three maybes for tonight. Shall we move it to next week?

Count me as a definite for tonight (if it's still on). I'm headed to Vietnam next week with the family... I was hoping to whine to anyone who'll listen about my locker and transmission problems before I go.

Yup, we're on for tonight. See y'all there!

Sorry I could not make it guys. The boys wanted to give me a "surprise" birthday party. Next time I swear I will make it.

Had a good time last night. Further to the discussion about the VC in the 80's, here's a good thread. Basically, it doesn't need to be replaced by anything once it's removed and it's completely independent of the CDL. So no, I don't have a part-time setup. The center diff is just fully open when it's not locked as opposed to having either "limited slip" or fully locked.

Great hanging out last night...I really appreciate y'all looking at the vacuum leak. It cranked and idle perfectly on my way to work this morning!

I'll look into it in more detail over the next week or so.

Thanks again!

Thanks again for coming out last night guys!! Had a blast as usual :D

@k4azy , that's pretty cool man, I didn't know that. Essentially you're removing the limited slip portion but not the differential function of the center diff. Makes sense to me!

Looking forward to next month
