"Hi Greg - I can meet with your folks at 9 or 9:30 on Saturday morning. We could meet at the Uwharrie Hunt Camp or I can meet you at Wolf Den Parking Lot. Let me know what time works and where you'd like to meet. I can get tools from Janet that morning and then meet your club. We'd probably do the erosion control work till noon or 1 pm. Thanks. I have responded letting her know we will meet at the Wolf's Den parking lot at 9:30 , this is the same location we have parked the last trail cleanup.

Correct-day passes will be handed out if you need them in the parking lot and I am waiting on confirmation of Arrowhead passes for those looking to camp out satruday night

Just a FYI - the Carolina Trailblazers will be holding their Fun Caravan this weekend as well!! I have been riding with them since the mid 90s and they are great crew.

If you have time, come by and check it out, this is located on some private property owned by the Cagle family. (Future site of camping, etc...!!)

I will be there on Saturday during the day - helping with the games, possibly out running some trails depending on how my rig is running. (Carb issue) I maybe in stealth mode in the Dodge Ram instead of the yota.

This is an open invite to all clubs this year (has been a private party in the past)

Guys,

Terry with the NFS is going to be doing the traning and had asked if she could ride with somone on the trails this coming saturday. I spoke with Alan and he has details for the weekend (pretty much everything you have heard here). I thought that with Terry riding with one of our members we would have the opportunity to express our opinions and also ask questions about the future of the trails.

Hopefully someone won't mind Terry riding along.

Can someone post a map to the meeting location? I found the forrest but the parking lot is a different story. I'm not finding it anywhere on Google.

to get to wolf den take us 109, turn on to SR 1153 then at the uwharrie hunt camp, turn onto US forest road 576 go past the shooting range to the wolfs den trail head. it was clearly marked last time i was there.

plug this into google maps 35.421248,-80.068252 and you should be right there.

Actually i'm going to have to back out. Andrea can't make it and my cruiser is spitting goo out from the axle (which is strange since my axle job was around 7k ago) So without a ride I need to spend the day looking at my axle and trying to make a money tree grow to fix parts.
