I could use a hand Labor Day weekend, I plan to do this Saturday, I'm in Holly Springs. I need to remove my front control arms, get the bushings out, and press new ones in.

While the truck is on stands, I'm also installing new springs.

Joe, I should be around town. how are you planning on pressing them in. i tried doing mine with a 10 ton press they wouldn't budge. ended up taking them over to loop road machine shop and even they had a time with them.

Guess I can't cut/burn them out? I suppose I'll need to find a machine shop nearby then that is open Saturday.

loop road is open on Saturday. I dropped them off and went to lunch, they were ready when i got back. i think they charged me 30bucks.

I should be able to come by for a good chunk of the day.

What sort of springs are you switching to? FOR?

I'm heading out of town again this weekend, but you are welcome to borrow any of my jack stands, floor jacks, etc. FYI, my 12mm tap is also handy for chasing the threads in the rear lower shock mount.

I'm going to be playing it by ear Joe, although I know Saturday I will be dove hunting. For the first time in YEARS, WolfPack Football won't interfere with opening day of dove season!

It's still up in the air for me. I'm going to try and get my phh replaced, oil and coolant change for the 80. Get the new knuckle studs installed. I've got some body work on the 40 I've been doing...

Hey Eric, what/where is Loop Road?

Aside from the control arms this shouldn't be bad at all. I'd like to try and get the control arms off Friday, have the bushings done Saturday, then do the springs.

Clint I'll call you.

do you need the tool for pressing out the bushings? i purchased one from slee when i did mine.

Cool thanks Eric. Yeah I could use that bushing press tool if you don't mind.

Anyone locally have the caster correction bushing template?

Joe I think I scanned a copy in my computer here at my office, you could print it out and then trace it to some posterboard if you want.

Wouldn't hurt, if you can email it that'd be great, Greg.

Whiteline includes great instructions w/ their bushings incl simple measurements prior to disassembly, so I should be set.

Jason sorry Friday night and this morning were a bit rough. Calling you................
