Most definitely! Hope you can make it.

Would a 1st gen 4runner be ok to attend?

Depends. Missing a major body part (fender, bumper, etc) is okay. Perfect machinery not permitted.

Had a great time this morning! Got to meet a few new Toyota nuts and hang out with a few familiar ones as well. Glad to meet JD and Ryan and catch up with Rice and Jason also. I got there early to get a few spaces and there was already a 40 there I had never seen before. It belonged to the man that organizes cars and coffee. He owns 15 collector cars and just by chance he drove his 40 today. Very nice guy, had never heard of mud or ONSC. I have seen a lot of nice 40's over the years but never anything like this. Imagine going back in time and buying a brand new 40, now think even cleaner. The under carriage was literally spotless. Here are a few pics from this morning.

Same here guys! I enjoyed meeting you all and hate that I couldn't stay longer. I'll definitely go to more of these and bring the wife and dog as well. Lots of years, body styles and models of Toyota 4wd represented today.

Correction ... it belongs to the wife of the man that organized the event. That's also her "several horsepower over stock" black mustang sitting next to it.

Very nice getting out for some visit time. Thanks all.

Ahhh yes, you are right. She was very proud that it was hers.

I tastefully told them via email that would increase the value seeing as he's already turned down 55k for it. Restored 3 times and still not quite right ;)

Had a great time fellas. And cool to see some sweet rides and meet new folks on a beautiful sunny Sunday

As far as the scheduling delimna I could be at fault too. Steve and I were chatting about trying to get some more local activity in this area And we brought up the cars and coffee which id just got an email about, Ashley handed over the iPad and boom done and it really progressed about that fast. No intentions to steal away from other planned events but just as the recruiting office is open while soldiers are The trenches I see no real disadvantage to the club having the coinciding events past participation numbers and fortunately we didn't have an affect on that as most attendees here had prior obligations or family commitments. I certainly wouldn't plan it that way but for those that only had a few hours to spend it was a great way to get out and meet the club. I had several cards taken from their display too so hope to see some new folks around.

Rymer that earlier comment certainly wasn't directed at you .... I definitely figured your wife to be on the list of those ok with browsing various forms of excessive horsepower machines :D Glad you could make it to the workday.

Ok and now for some pics ....

Hot rod 1 f???? Nope a trv straight six sports coupe

In contrast to the awesome pics Jason posted ... an under-the-dash pic of the "rat digger" 4x4 that was there.
