Triad Monthly Meeting August 10th 5pm, Triad Park

Well we didn’t have a meeting in July so I reckon it’s time for a Triad Monthly Meeting. June was in winston so I believe this one should be in Greensboro/HighPoint/Kernersville. So I’ll leave it to people from that neck of the woods to decide on a location.

Hey y’all! I have a proposal I wanted to send your way.

As some of you may know, NCFJ has been lifeless for 3-4 years now. Just in the last couple of days, I’ve requested to step into the role of trying to breath life back into that old group. One of the ways to do that initially is to get meetups going. I’ve divided the state into 4 areas; mountain, triad, triangle and coastal with reps for each area. I’m taking the triad role.

Would it be ok if the triad area NCFJ coincided our local meetups with you guys?

weve had a few interactions before with mixed results but anyone with a toyota with low range is welcome; challenge will be the numbers as we are sometimes already hard pressed to find a location to fit us all on busier months. Maybe its time for a summer cookout at triad park?

It might have to be a 'bring your own meat' cookout. Don't anyone search that on google though, we wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong idea about our parties...

I'll grab some charcoal, and get it lit and ready and everyone can just throw on what they want to bring? Easier than trying to coordinate some type of list.

Let's change the thread title to Triad park, with the address and time, @Jaeco go ahead and assemble team FJ - the more the merrier.

Likely need to determine if a tuesday or a weekend day is best. Some previous complaints about tuesday were hard to make it home from work, grab kids, and get to park by 6. Options could be make it 7 or make it on a weekend.

See the map. "Alternate Location" also identified. There's a grill by that parking lot too - but the preference is the "Gazebo" locations. Both are non-reserved.
