Hi,

I just picked up a set of TRD Pro 18" for LX570. What is the largest size tire I can put on it without rubbing against the inner liner?
285/65/18 or 275/70/18

Thank you.

AW

Any combo with 285 or 275 with overall diameter less than or equal to 33".

285 will fit but might require a bit of light cutting or front mudflap removal ( if that's possible on the LX)

Thank's. I decided to go with 285/65/18. Get them install tomorrow.
Please post some pics when you get em on, I'm looking at that combo as well - I'd be interested to get your opinion on the ride difference as well if there is one. TIA

I wouldn't do 285 on a Lexus if it required cutting. I didn't mind trimming on my 200... but would be hesitant to do so on my 570.

Why not a bit of skirt cutting? It's the same plastic skirting on both... Not a big deal, really. If you get a front bumper, far more of it gets cut off completely anyway...

I went to tire shop, we tried to fit in TRD pro wheel, it didn't clear the caliper.
Do I need any fitting kit or spacer to clear the caliper?

Did you buy your LX570 new?

What year is it?

Are you sure it still has the stock brake rotors/calipers?

I bought a CPO LX570. It only has 18K miles when I picked up from Lexus dealer. It is 2014.
Yes, still on stock brake caliper and rotor

I just test fit it myself at office and it fits just fine. The guy at tire shop didnt lock the wheel, so it moves, and it touches the wheel when turn. So, here I am back at tire shop.

I wondered about that...... glad to hear !

It looks really nice with 285/65 tires.
I may put wheel spacer for rears to have it stick out a little, better stance.
Overall, I am very happy with the change.

285/65s are what I run on mine too. I am not running the TRD wheels, but Tundra wheels. No rubbing at all with these tires... no trimming either.

Pictures? Did you say it rubs without the spacer?

For mine, no spacers, but I'm running 18" Tundra rims. I think it was the 17" TRD rims that needed the spacers. In that case, I could see rubbing on the outer fender well.
