Hi all,
I got a used TRD big brake kit (PTR09-00150) and although I have the install instructions there is no mention of service specs like minimum pad thickness and more importantly min rotor thickness.
Does anyone know the minimum rotor and/or pad thickness?
Thanks

I looked carefully and there is no stamp besides the left and right stamp.

I found a chart online that says min thickness for a rotor that started at 32mm, is 30mm
Sorry couldn't link it

Thank you! Very good info to help estimate it.
The link is https://dba.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/DBA-WALL-CHART-2019-FINAL-PRINT.pdf

TRD rotors are 406x35mm
OEM Tundra are 354x32mm
OEM LC/LX are 340x32mm

OEM FSM (factory service manual) lists min thickness not lower than 3mm from nominal.
DBA lists some 34 and some 36mm thick rotors. The min is not lower than 2.5mm from nominal.

I called StopTech (they make the brakes for TRD) and they declined to answer sending me to Toyota.

Given all that data I'll go with the factory manual that is 3mm maximum wear.

As for pad thickness it looks like 1mm is the minimum across the board for Toyota.

One more data point from StopTech technical support...

They offer their own BBK for our trucks using 380mm x 35mm rotors. For those rotors the minimum thickness is 33mm.
