Hello Hive Mind.

I'm curious if anyone has experience running Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers on a GX470 w/TRD 17x7, 4mm offset wheels (p/n PTR20-35110-GR)?

Fees like the 1.25" (32mm) Spidertrax spacer + the TRD 17x7 (4mm offset) wheel would give me 36mm total offset.. Is that right? Does anyone know if my 265/70r17 BFG ATs will clear the fender?

I'm more than a bit of a dunce when it comes to wheel measurements etc. so would sure appreciate it if anyone knew!

It will work.
It would create a lot more tire rub depending on tire size.
You would feel more road imperfection.

It would make it - 31.75+4=-27.75 mm offset.
3/4" spacer would be better but a lot harder to find. I think BORA makes it.

Thanks for this.. Not sure why its so confusing for me. Seeing your math and doing a little more googling has been helpful though.

Current tires are 265/70r17..

Hi. I recently installed TRD 17x7 +4 offset wheels on Spidertrax 1.25" spacers. My tires are 33x10.50r17 Kenda R/Ts. I installed a 2" OME lift at the same time. I need to trim the front bumper corner and liner to stop the rub. I've put a few hundred miles on it like this. Except for the rubbing, it drives and rides fine. Time will tell. Here are some pics to evaluate the look.

Forgot to add: your 265/70r17 tire is approx. 31.6" diameter x 10.4" wide. I ran 265/70r17 tires on stock wheels with Spidertrax spacers for a couple years with occasional rubbing up front. The rubbing was not bad enough to trim the liner. The +4 offset TRD wheels may cause you more significant rubbing and you may have to trim.

How do you like those Kendas? They appear to be reasonably-priced and the reviews look promising...and a 33x10.50R17 size is hard to find and seems to possibly fit that sweet spot between a 255/80R17 and a 285/70R17.

@smallmountains -- Thank you so much for this - a great point of reference. One more question - do the rear tires rub on the inner fender at all when you're fully flexed and they're stuffed?
