Before I go to far on my rear suspension, Right now I have it set up to flex as well as the front which is hard to do somtimes in a 60 series. I am running a 5 leaf pack in the rear compaired to the 7 leaf up front.
My question is about suspension travel. I noticed on a lot of "hardcore" rigs that when sitting on flat ground there is only about 3-4 inches of upward travel before the shock runs out of stroke. Do i want to limit upward travel on my rear suspension and allow large amounts of droop? Or keep it rather balanced.
The reason I ask becuase I about to relocate the shock mounts and add longer shocks in the rear. I really have no problem cutting into the tub to have the hoop stlye mount in the bed. I would like to run the shocks as near vertical as possible.
I dont know how hardcore this is but just need some insight...
thanks,
-Al
