A suspension system and sliders form Slee will arrive next week, which I will then install. I am seeking technical inputs, tricks, and experience that may save me time, and ensure the highest quality long term result of this installation. I've installed a few suspension systems in my time so I know the obvious stuff. Please provide input that may assist in this 1st phase of transforming my stock 99 into a more worthy trail machine.

I ordered the complete 100 series suspension system with the diff lowering kit, firm shocks, torsion bars, and 860 rear springs (medium spring rate 2+ inch lift), and step sliders.

As always, I appreciate your objective helpful comments.

FWIW the t-bars on my rig, which came from the rust belt BTW, needed repeated flame/PB blaster...5-sessions in all to break them free. Other than the hassle of the rear upper shock mount nuts (especially on the PS/muffler side) everything is straightforward.

Hey Ben,

I just had Lunch with Craig and he told me about your purchase. Then I get on MUD and here you are. That's awesome and it sound like a fun project. I wish I had bought an older one, but I should be out of warranty in a few more years. Good luck.
