Has anyone had to fix transfer case leak on the rear of the transfercase for the 80. It is a drip at the output shaft. Can this be done in place or does the Tcase have to be removed?

I replaced my t-case rear output seal, however my t-case was already down at the time. I believe you can unbolt the rear output shaft assembly as long as you have access to the bolts. At worst all you may have to do is to lower the tranny/t-case to gain access to the upper bolts.
