I'm in the beginning phases of installing a minitruck t-csae in my cruiser behind a 700R4..

My rear D/S is the CV off the front of an IFS 4-runner, and the front DS will be a 2-piece deal from high angle, also Toyota based.

It would appear that when I mocked up the CV on both the front and rear of the t-csae (just for kicks) that the bolt holes didn't line up. No biggie, I've heard of drilling the flanges a few times, but it looked as though the holes I'd need to drill are REALLY close to the edge of the t-case flanges...

So, the question is... Did Toyota make different OD flanges?

Also, assuming I need to get different flanges (but still Toyota, no $100 1350 custom stuff here), where's the best place to get 'em? Marlin has double-drilled ones for $29 + S&H...

Thanks.

Yes, there are many different sized flanges...
IIRC 79-83 are the smaller flanges w/ the 8mm bolts. 84+ are larger w/ 10mm... and the V6 tases have even larger flanges w/ pressed in studs...

I'd recommend just buying teh double drilled flanges from Marline as you mentioned...
