trans fluid?

does anyone know what type of trans fluid is soposed to go in my manual 83 FJ 60

Gear oil. GL4, GL5, GL6 will work fine.

What he said: gear oil, 90W, 80W-90, or 75W-90. GL4 is nice, GL5 seems to work fine, don't know about GL6. If it's cold where you drive the vehicle, the 75W-90 might be best.
