Tranny Sounds

I finally got the carb workin, BUT now there is a new sound coming from the transmission!!!

when it is running there are "wooshing" and "gargaling" sounds comeing from the tranny and when i drove it around the block when i would press the clutch to shift it made a sound like pressure being released.

so now what could it be???!!!

HELP!!!!

lately it seems like everything is falling apart on the cruiser.

did you check the clutch master cylinder level? could also be the Throw out bearing.

Are you sure the gurgling isn't coming from the heater core?

i checked all fluids and there are fine. the thing that i dont get is it is making noised but it all still works fine.

Get an automotive stethoscope, but the rear on jackstands, get someone else to start it up & go through the gears, & poke around underneath until you find it. I second 60wag - whooshing & gargling sound like air in the cooling system.

Noises when you disengage the clutch probably have to do with it (mc & slave cylinder, throwout bearing).

i thought the same but when i went under the cruiser you can defintly hear the sounds coming out from the tranny
