My family and I will be in the Franklin area next week and I'm looking for some good roads or trails that we can get on. We're just looking for something interesting but not extreme. We'll be in the 80 series that's just a little more than stock. Thanks.

Anyone have any suggestions.

Depending on family size and ages, head down to Highlands on 64, Bust your Butt Falls along the way, Dry Falls, And Bridal Veil Falls are all along the way. Highlands is a pretty interesting village, pricey and cool vehicles around. Then continue south on 28 from Highlands and look for Secret Falls Trailhead On Big Creek Road. The falls may be closed but it’s an interesting dirt drive. If open, the falls trail is short and the falls well worth it. Then head north on Walking Stick road back to Highlands (may be a closed gate as its seasonal). If you head south on Walking Stick, towards GA, it’s a slick road, winching will be needed for sure. Google maps should show you the falls I mentioned, and guide you to them easily enough.
