Recently purchased my first rig (2000 LX470) and I’m having some issues with my trailer lights. Having read thru some threads, I think I’ve narrowed it down to my trailer light converter failing. Running lights and my right side turn signal work properly on the trailer but the left side doesn’t come on at all. I hooked the trailer up to my truck and they all worked properly. As far as I can tell, it’s supposed to be located behind my drivers side taillight. Having taken the assembly out, as well as the jack holder, it’s not there. I’m wondering if anyone knows another location it could be? Thank you

The main connector from the body harness is on the right underside next to the spare. Locate it and follow from there.

Mine was behind the driver’s side taillight. I just replaced it with an aftermarket unit. No more issues!
