I have a duratrac 285/75 16 as a spare and need to get a trailer hitch. does any know if the spare will still fit under after I add a hitch? I would love a back bumper with spare mount but I do not have the money for that.

I have a hitch, and it fits (with some shoving).

I have the same size tire (BFG AT) and my spare fits easily with the "factory" hitch.
It should fit. I have about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of clearance between my NTG295/75/16 and the panhard rod. I had to wedge it slightly toward the drivers side though. I have the stock hitch.
I know 285/75/16s and 255/75/16s also fit.
