I live in Sandy and I have a triple locked fzj80 with 50mm lift, 33 inch tires some sliders and thats about it and I'd like to do a trail this weekend that is (in order of importance):

1. within an hour drive
2. actually takes me some place scenic.
3. hard enough for a challenge (but easy enough a 2012 Tacoma TRD with locker, sliders and 265/75r16 duratracs can follow)

I've been poring over the maps and I've looked at
forest lake in american fork canyon
Norway flats are outside of Kamas
a few other trails in the Kamas area related to FS roads.

Im taking some off roading noobs out with me and so anything remotely technical would be fine for them, I just want to make sure we go someplace interesting. I loved murdock basin and cataract gorge, but I've been there twice already

Anyone have good suggestions? Im not into body damage and I don't have a winch

West desert out by eagle mountain has some trails that range from simple to moderate. Also have little Moab and the alpine trail. If I wasn't stuck down here in TX I would offer to go with.
