$69k? That's some BS huh? I would fight for at least another $3k or $4k there. They will take your car, wash it, basic oil change and put in the lot for $80k at least.2022 LX600, 54k miles. Offered $69k on a trade for a full msrp 2025 LX700h overtrail.

Ahm, ok. Now it makes sense what they are offering you. I wish this option was still available to buy brand new, although I suspect Lexus would charge no less than $100k today for the base, base model. My 22 is a base model, so $89k msrp. -20k over three years.
Have you driven the 700h yet? I feel you will be impressed by the jump in power/torque. Had an opportunity a couple of years ago to trade our 200 in on the 600, and it really didn't "wow" me enough to do so. Shortly after , I drove the Sequoia and left there with a few wows and a feeling that it was the drivetrain that needed to be in the LX one day.2022 LX600, 54k miles. yes, have been similarly impressed with the couple of LC's I've driven. Looking at a 24 or 25 convertible.Have you driven the 700h yet? I feel you will be impressed by the jump in power/torque. A 22% price depreciation offer on your 600 isn't bad in my opinion. It's below the average for a vehicle with 56k miles and 3 years old (30-35% normally & you are a little higher than average on miles). Plus, if you're in a state that offers tax credit on your trade-in, that's a bonus as well. With that, I say go for it. Life is short, ha ha.
And best of luck on the LC500. I've owned mine for 5 years now, just cannot get rid of it. Literally one of the best cars I have owned (100+ cars).![]()

I feel the loss of cargo space would make this a NO especially with family of 5.The loss of cargo space in the LX700h is a bit of a bummer, as I use mine for all the crazy adventures with a family of five.
Still pondering.
Now we are talkin'--going once....I'd consider buying yours for the $69 cash
Not sure of the size of your 5 family members, but if you need cargo space and do not need a third row, at least wait or order the 2-row version of the 700OT. That raised floor and tray in the back in the 3-row version is almost as ridiculous as the stupid chin in the LXs and you will be left with a Tetris game trying to fit your cargo with limited vertical space.I feel the loss of cargo space would make this a NO especially with family of 5.
I bet that is true. It is the same with any car manufacturer. First and second year models are guinea pigs and always get improved afterwards. If anything, with my latest purchases I bought the last year models of the 5th gen 4runner and 200HE, because (although probably behind in tech - which could also be a benefit seeing all the nannies in cars these days) those are usually at the top of their game with any meaningful kinks sorted out.-Lexus has improved little things on the platform we don’t even know about. Suspension tuning, throttle mapping, maybe other stuff.
