Trade in 99 LC for 06 LC?? Yay or nay...

seriously? That thing has a freaking ECU for the RADIO ANTENNA! And have you priced a brake booster lately? Tranny? I love your outlook, but simple and cheap aren't two adjectives I'd use for any land cruiser..And keeping the 99 is the right call given the money difference. In five years get a 200'

This is so spot on. If someone want inexpensive parts, they should get a 4runner or jeep. Seriously. There are many more of those where one can get used/new parts. Have you noticed how many 100s are being dismantled? Hardly any, they are few and far between. New boosters for 100s are around $3700 last I checked.

Hey now...I never have or ever will want "cheap" parts for my Land Cruiser. I mean come on, I bought a damn Land Cruiser...nothing is cheap or inexpensive about owning and keeping a well maintained 100. I guess I shouldve used the term "less expensive". I feel like im buying OEM parts monthly and yes it adds up...BUT the prices are all a little less than when the rig was newer. Thats all I was saying...And a 200 in 5 years sounds like a good plan!

Saw the same 06 and thought the same thing. We also have a 99. There are some things I would like to see different on our 99 as well, which is why I thought about it but in the end it's the same as the one I got and I already have it, so why pay more for better paint, less rust, and a few other things. We have less miles, but it sure is pretty. I grabbed the 200 series for my buddy they had on their lot a couple weeks ago. Also super clean. I want the Tundra they have, but oh well...

We should get together some time!
