My fuel level sender is sometimes spot on and sometimes empty. I have had rodent damage before in the engine compartment, mainly the windshield wiper hoses. Since my problem is intermitent I think it might be a wire with the insulation chewed off that may be periodically shorting out. Where is this fuel level sender wire in the engine bay?
