Fuel Smell

So, turns out it wasn't my LX at all. Gas can in my garage in 95 degrees turned out to be the culprit. Thanks for the insight though here, certainly something to keep an eye on
 
Is the vent valve on the canister? OR it is in another location? Maybe I need to replace it if its not on the canister?

Fuel pressure is still pressing my gas cap up and gas fumes are escaping through the gas cap every time i drive it?

What else can I check?

Ok. I'm adding that heat shield tomorrow as well.
I chased a random but persistent fuel smell for a long time before I just got a new OEM gas cap. Problem solved.

FYI there was nothing visibly wrong with the old OEM gas cap. It was just old.
