Noobie question here, be kind.
My personal vehicle is a carbed 4Runner, but I'm stuck maintaining my
sister-in-law's 1988 FJ62 . I don't know much about working on EFI trucks.
I need to replace the TPS and don't have the FSM, although I do have the
Haynes manual for it ( or at least she does).
Any special tools or techniques required ?
What about adjusting it after install ?

only special things you will need is an Ohme meter and feeler gauges(like for doing valves). Besides that the manual should spell it out.
