Hi Guys,

Trying to find the parts numbers for the Throttle position sensor and the APPS, can't find them on toyodiy.com and the dealer says i have to buy the throttle body for 800 bucks to get the tps???? Doesn't make sense to me - or do I just buy after market?

I'm showing VSC off VSC TRAC and engine light, truck is down on power - was intermittent now it is constant. I figured I'd try the TPS first then the APPS - unless someone tells me to just change out the APPS.

Thanks!

Louis

PS, sounds like I get to make another repair tutorial!

Why year is your truck? Try toyotapartszone.com

ok, don't need it! A squirrel packed my air box full of pine cones! I had only just changed the filter a couple of days ago and there was nothing in there, the little bastard.

Should run fine now.

Thanks guys!

I was just going to say... I don't think I've heard of any 03-07 having a TPS/APPS problems. It was an improved set-up over the 98-02.

That's great you figured it out before spending the $$.

Nice squirrel restriction.

check this out - just the way i found it.

Haaaaaa. That is too funny. Boy that really is restricted isn't it?

You've got to be kidding!

You're lucky you don't have a K&N... some of those are small enough to have made it through the porous foam... :flipoff2:

In other news... what's up with all that oil residue on the fender side of the intake?
