I currently have an aisin upright 12v winch, I think my motor is going bad, because it's been overheated(it doesn't have the oem temperature sensor it was removed by the PO) and seemed to be performing less than desirable; I swapped out and installed a Warn endurance 12.0 air cooled, but don't really like it....
I want to go back to my aisin winch but need to figure out with what motor can I replcae the oem one, I read in one of the posts about putting in a faster/ more powerfull motor but I couldn't find info on what motor to buy, (like in the 8274 that you can replace the motor with a 6hp warn unit....)
