I'm on the hunt for a work/DD truck to replace my Oldsmobile and use to haul my 40's guts around when I have them rebuilt, I prefer 4WD over 2WD, but will accept anything that works. (Basically my Cruiser will be ready in about two years, but I want to wheel yesterday.)
Has to be manual transmission, has to be a Toyota motor, I've had a few too many sickeningly mediocre experiences with GM tech to want either an auto, or another conversion. Extended cab preferred, but will accept single/extended or a 4runner, whatever comes along.
The highest price I can meet is about 5 grand, but my be able to scrape together more coin as needed.
