I posted a thread on a shipment I received from these chaps here: What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/what-did-you-do-with-your-80-this-weekend.586191/post-15997725

Fast forward. I returned the part, in their carton as requested. They indicated that they would ship me a new vane pump when they had received notice that the damaged part was being sent back to them. 2 1/2 weeks later, I had heard nothing so I called. They indicated that I would receive notification once the new part was shipped and not to worry. A week or so after that I get a notice from USPS that I had to file paperwork with them for a claim. Called TPD and they said not to worry, it happens all the time, they were handling it. About a week later I still hear nothing so I call. They said they would look into it and return may call that day. About an hour later I receive an email message stating they are canceling the order as the part was not available. Okay, fine. order the part from someone else and have it here, undamaged (because they know how to package it).

Several days go by and there is no credit from them so I contact my CC provider and file a claim. Yesterday I get an email stating

" You are requesting a full refund for the canceled order CT66864113, including shipping, as the cancellation was not warranted and you were left responsible for the returned damaged part.".

I am looking at the bill and they want me to pay for shipping. I reply back that I should not be held responsible for any of the cost as none of this is no me, I am not responsible for others actions.

So, beware of this POS seller with lousy customer service and unethical behavior. There are better vendors to choose from.

Beno, hey, thanks Chief - You the man! You and your shop are on my AZ bucket list, I definitely would like to visit you once things cool off.

In fact, now that I am exploding your email box, I will order hood insulation from you as we get closer to the fall. That is December in the desert, right?

I don't think Toyota Parts Deal is a "thing". I think it's basically an internet front that just scrapes the net for parts and pretends to be a business. I had one good and two bad experiences with them - one was for some hard to find weather stripping that "they" had and sent right out. The other two were for parts with reasonable shipping, then "uh-oh?" the shipping suddenly quintupled once I put in my payment info. It took over a week to cancel the order and sort it out. It was clear that there were multiple different businesses involved in these different transactions. They're strictly last resort.

Megazip consistently has the best availability, shipping charges, and shipping times I've encountered. And their customer service is simply amazing. I'm tired of Amayama giving me the "it's available - oh sorry NLA" borderline personality crap.

100% agree. I’ve given up on Amayama. Megazip and Partsouq are my go-to now.
