Hi I have a landcruiser hj60 24volt 1989 2h. 55h gearbox.
I am doing a universal wire harness and are now wiring in The gearbox and transfercase switches.
1. The rpm switch has 2 wires is it just going from + trough the switch and back up to the gauge where it is grounded through 1 of the 3 wires there?
The transfer case has 2 switches 1 is small witch i think is for the 4WD light in The dash but what is the other bigger for?
Regards jens

For the RPM yes thats about it ,

on the transmission you have:

-rpm sensor on the bell housing
- back up light switch on the top cover of the transmission
-4wd indicator switch left side of the T-case behind the vacuum actuator
-t-case neutral switch (on top behind the shifter linkage )
-and sometime a low range switch just behind this one ,

neutral and low range switch are mostly on vacuum shifted t-case
