Hello,

I search for documentation (injection timing) for H engine (3.6 liters, 6 cylindres) mounted on HJ45 (1980).

Do you have this ?

Thanks,

i did have this, it's in my shop manual, which is not with me at the moment, if you get no more help, i'll try to post it by friday.

might pay to ask in the International corner of this site, the americans didn't get H engines i don't think.

what did you need the info for?

I try to explain with my poor english ;o)

I need to know how to adjust valves (IN & EXT).
When I try to do this as on a 2H engine, it's not OK.
On a 2H or 12HT (and maybe a F or 2F) engine, when the N°1 is at "PMH", you adjust valves :
- 1 / 2 / 4 / 5 / 8 / 9 and after a round of 360° you adjust :
- 3 / 6 / 7 / 10 / 11 / 12
But, on a H engine, valves are not ordering as on a 2H engine (valves IN & EXT).

If you undestand me ........;o)))
Thanks,
Arnaud (BJ42 & HJ45)

yeah i understand, i had the same problem.

i ended up adjusting them one cylinder at a time (estimating where top dead center was for each piston)

injector (and enginr) firing order is 1 - 4 - 2 - 6 - 3 - 5.

hope that helps you work out how to do them

That's the way I do mine on my hj45 too!

So, Americans have HJ45 !!

I often go on www.sor.com !
You have a lot of parts we haven't in France (and Europe). Not for origine parts, but for adaptables parts.
You are "crazy" with FJ / BJ, and it's a good thing, I often take ideas on americans' web site.

Arnaud

Check the www.birfield.com website. There are several LandCruiser shop manuals available for download. There is also a french site with similar info but I don't know the address as I don't speak/read french.
