"Hey big guy, you a golfer" - Roger Dorn
I was lucky enough to be invited to cater an event at the Toyota Auto Museum in Redondo Beach last night. This place is about a mile from my restaurant and I had no idea it existed until last night. It is very unmarked and you basically have to know someone to get in. Well, while I was there I chatted it up with the manager of the museum and she was very impressed with my Land Cruier knowledge as well I was with hers. I talked about the site and all the people in Socal and she really was excited about our group. She offered up the place to us if we ever need it for any functions. She said that she would love to fill the parking lot with cruisers and take pictures from the roof to put in the museum. The only 80 in the museum was a 96' LX 450 (yes is was locked) PROTOTYPE. It was way cool as was a lot of the cars in there. They had 4 40's in there that were all pretty mint (one wagon and truck was in the mix). I did not have my camera to take any pics--I didn't even ask if they were allowed. Anyways let me know if anyone wants to go to the museum or has a need for a function at all. It is pretty cool.

PS-- she told me to let her know if I needed any part as she could get a discount, I am not sure if it would beat Dan's or not....I also am going to try and go through her to plead my case to Toyota about the Head gasket issue w/ the 80's....especially since I need to do 2. I think I can reference thos site for some pretty good support.
