The e-locker is an 8". You can't put the open 8.2" into the same housing that the e-locker is in, it won't fit. Vicey versy too.

The carrier bearing preload style is a significant difference too. The shims are a PITA, but it's a strong setup.

Front diff in the mighty 80 series is an 8". Open diffs were only 2 pinion, like the ones in the early 100 series that get blown up often. I assume both F & R diffs in the 200 are 4 pinion?
