Toyota 4-Runner 4 WD 1994 *NEW TIRES* - $2700
I am selling my wonderful Toyota 4-Runner. I have been the only owner of it for 11 years. I have kept PERFECT records and receipts over the entire life of it (I am pretty good with paperwork).

It is a 4 wheel drive, it has air conditioning, tinted windows (that are factory toyota tint - they call it 'privacy glass' it is basically the brown tint), tinted glass moon roof,
luggage roof rack, the paint job is great, it has never been in a wreck,
It has a V6 engine with 3.0 liter, It is a manual 5 speed, it has 216k on it,
Power steering, power locks, power windows, tilt steering, Anti-lock Brakes, it also has cruise control and rear window defroster.. It also has a heater with heater controls for the backseat (I guess that is not such a great selling point here)

Things I have added on to it:

it has a nice (anti-skip) MP3/CD Player and AM/FM stereo, Tow Hitch, Reese Brand, Very Expensive one, Front Bumper Custom Grille Guard. (very expensive too), Also I just got a new set of tires on it a few months ago, and they are under warranty, and I have all of that information. They were nice ones and the place I got them have free rotation and flat-tire repairs for the life of the tires.
I know that it needs a bit of work.
I was driving it and it started making a ticking sound.
The knocking sort of comes and goes, there are times when you are changing gears, and driving when the knocking will even stop, but it always comes back. This new mechanic called it a mis-shaped or damaged engine rod or the cylinder that the engine rod goes into is mis-shaped.
Either way, it is a time-consuming deal, and I would have had to pay him a lot of labor to fix it, and he said that if I was going to pay that much in labor, I may as well get a new engine, and once I do that, I may as well get a new car.
So, It has what he called a 'rod knock'.
It still runs and it never overheated. Also it never lost power or torque, it just makes the noise.
If it did not have the rod problem it would be worth $5,870.00, so says kelly blue book.

I have all the receipts for the work that has been done over the years. New battery, new alternator, new cv boot,(i think that is what it is called).maybe it was a cv joint, a new clutch (replaced in 2002)
I had the same mechanic the entire time until I moved here, and he wrote very thorough receipts.

Nice looking truck, but please, this is the internet. Posting a pic of yourself, your phone number and home address is really not a good idea. Just have people reply through email or private messages. We will all feel better.
Just use the edit function to change your original post.
Thanks and good luck on the sale!

Does the driver come with it?:D

Yeah, I agree with 451 that if that's you in the pic (or anybody you know/care) I would delete/chop it. You can never be too careful these days.;)

The rig looks clean though!

Good luck selling it!

Poser, please delete this post as you see fit.
Thanks!

Mot:)
