Hey all. Looking at the toyo at2 for my unlifted, stock wheels 80. Thinking about the LT315/75R16 or LT305/70R16.
Anybody running these or know anyone? Would love to see how they look especially on a stock 80 like mine!
Any body heard if their tread life really is "40% better than the competition"? And if you like something else better - I'm all ears!

I run Nitto Terra Grapplers (same manufacturer, nearly identical tread). Great tire for desert terrain. Can't tell you how they'll work in Ark. They will fit on a stock rig but without a lift and extended bump stops, you'll have rubbing issues with either size.

Mine, 315s on a 3.5" lift.

I like them. They're pretty quiet but do have a slight hum, but not bad at all.

I have the 315s on the chinook and 35s on the lx470. Just drove the lx470 across country 2400 miles. Love these tires. I used to have Destination MTs and Cooper STTs and these seem to run quieter. As for longevity Ive read a few reviews and the opinions are split.... They are nice looking tires though:D

Have you looked at the Grabber AT2s?

Awesome tires! Great reviews everywhere I looked. 60,0000 mi warranty.

I'm happy with mine so far...did quite well in some moderate mud the one time that I've had them offroad. 65k mile warranty too

Thanks a bunch guys! Those 295s are looking pretty good To me.
Next question is who is likely to have them in stock? SAMs club? Sears? Doubtful eh?

Another option is Hankook Dynapro RT03 295/75-16.

I had Hankook Dynapro ATM's. They were OK.

Have Revo II's now - traction is great with either tire until you get in mud.

Considering my current Nitto Terra Grapplers are not only LT, but nearly worn and have a screw in one, I am really looking forward to a brand new set of nice rubber. Couldn't begin to tell you the difference the Cooper AT3's made over the worn, dry rotted Michelin's that were on my 4runner.

I just did Dynapro ATM guy at DTD sold me on these vs Coopers. Will post pics this week...
The ATM's are not the same as the RT03's, just FYI.

Found some of the Toyo AT2 in stock through the Toyo dealers search. Shopped it around some and got some new shoes for the ole Warthog today! 295/75/16
Zero rub so far (no lift). Very slight hum on the highway. BARELY noticeable extra sway, stopping distance, slower acceleration. And they look great!
They were $1075 for 4 all In With road hazard.
Thanks for the help guys!
Now, let's hope a blizzard hits north Arkansas tomorrow for tgiving! (Unlikely, but I can dream right!)
