Marlin crawler use to make them, they go between the trans and transfer case and act as a reduction box.

The H41 is easier to find since you can still import them new for a decent price.

The reduction box itself is just the front of a mini-truck tcase. The key parts were the adapter plates and input gear (maybe shaft also) Hard to remember it's been so long since any have surfaced.

Where can you import an H41 for a decent price.

They don't make the toybox anymore? I noticed it's still on their website and figured I would buy one when I won the lottery.

Did not see the sixteen spline output shaft for the H41 available. Did see the nineteen spline H41 for the split case listed. Those are nineteen spline. And price is up there close to the H55F. Unless you building a rock buddy solely for rock crawling would rather have an H55F with a 4 to 1 low range gears into a split case.
