Looked better in the pics but still a cool rig would take some work to be road worthy for long trips but unlimited potential :) Driver tank is leaking diesel should have left a pan to catch it from the grass at those diesel prices :(

Yeah, sweet rig.. wish it was 4x4. You could literally put a 40 on the back deck and still drag the Landry cabin behind it!

Started using an app to track my MPG, you put in your odo reading, the total gallons, and price per gallon at fillup. it tracks everything, as long as you dont miss a fillup.

I'm pretty excited about the numbers I'm getting, I have recently put a Riffraff 6637 airfilter kit on which I believe helped.

Nice :) I used similar app called gas log on my out west trip but that one looks a lot nicer whats it called? Is that in town driving or a combination of both?

Here's a question I change my fuel filter every 10,000 miles, this past weekend when changing it I cycled the ignition 3 times before starting it to let it prime up and it still didn't want to start. I ended up cracking the drain to let any air out until I saw the diesel start to come out and tried it again and it fired right up. Whats the correct process should I try to fill up the cartridge halfway before I screw it on it'll probably be a mess but its not exactly a clean job to begin with. I know the engine needs the fuel for lubricating the pump and don't want to cause any premature damage I'm trying to pamper that CP3 pumo with 115K on it now. Any thoughts or anything you do different when changing yours? In general to those of you with diesels.

I have a hand primer on top of my filter housing and use to fill up the filter along with letting the air out.

Now I have the Raptor inline pump and it primes everything for me.

That screenshot is from the website that's goes with the app, its fuelly.com. I haven't changed mine yet, I can't get the cap off. But I did drain the fuel bowl when I did my injector harness and the book just called for me to turn it 3 times and then start, but I had to do the same thing as you, and it still took several times before mine would start.

The hand primer sounds like a cool ad on but that raptor pump sounds nicer :) I guess I'm going to have to fill it half way and let the air out to see how that works :meh:

Will check the app out for the next trips, yea it sounds you had the same problem on start as I did. You really need to get that cap off so you change that filter and know what you got. I had to buy a heavy duty rubber filter wrench because its a plastic housing once I break the seal with the wrench I can get the rest by hand :)

Finally got to tow something besides a mower and a 4wheeler on the Behemoth.

the trailer is in the middle of my yard, with all the rain it was to soft to back the trailer all the way to my parking spot for it. 4wd would have been nice. Would have been embarrassing to have to call someone to pull me out of my own yard.

Running like a champ. Towed this load like it wasn't there even with my tuner turned down to stock.

Glad to hear bud, are you still working on that camper for the trailer?

No man. have not messed with either the camper of the 4runner at all in months. Just have lost all enthusiasm for anything lately.

Ever since I dropped the plates on the 4tunner and started thinking about it as a trail only machine... Well its just not fun anymore.

The camper is kind of a pos I never should have bought but I drove hours to get, and pretty much convinced my self at the time that even if it was rough around the edges, for the price I couldn't beat it. Should have told the guy to keep it and just came home empty handed.

Sorry to hear bud, hopefully you get your mojo back soon so you can get back out there on the trails with us :) Bummer about the camper maybe Paul's project will inspire you to rework it and use it he has to do some repairs on his new one as well. I still have that tent for you if you get to drop by the meeting Sunday I'll bring it :)

gonna be offshore this meeting.

If it ever stops raining so I can use my tractor without rutting up my yard I am planning on putting the camper on the trailer to atleast get it to my new place and out of my moms hair. Once it is on the trailer maybe things will move better
