To level any trailer I need a 14 in drop. I've got a 6" on it now. I wanna redo the trailer this summer. Make all lights work new paint. Redo interier. I'd like to eventually put an ac,but I'm gonna have my camper 60 so probably not gonna ac this. :)

Good deal for the right price sounds like it would be a good tow rig it'll roll another 250 with normal maintenance.

Added the Mag-Hytec transmission pan this past weekend and changed the filters with some OEM from Geno's Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel Parts and Accessories - Geno's Garage With a fresh 11 quarts of Valvoline synthetic tranny fluid I'm hoping to keep the temps down on this trip it'll be working at twice the elevation as its previously seen in Missouri/Arkansas or Tennessee and quite a bit heavier since we'll be on the road for 16 days we're packing it ALL . Charge on RAM :D

Loaded up for Maiden voyage!

Looks nice bud congrats your gonna love it. Set the cruise and let it go :)

Love it, like you said, set the cruise and sit back. It never downshifted with the cruise set. Running 75 on the hwy I got 7 MPG with the overdrive off.

Why was overdrive off, did the tranny warm up? Seems like 75 would over rev a diesel without od.

well being a 3/4 ton I am guessing he has 3.73 gears. With my truck and 4.10s 65 mph in direct is about 2800 rpm and just about 200 rpm under redline. With 3.73s in direct drive if his tires are the same size as mine he would be at about 2900 at 75. Personally I would run it in OD unless the transmission starts hunting. The 4r100 should be plenty stout at stock power levels pulling a single car.

Side note, just ordered my new south bend clutch for my truck. In 2 weeks I should have the ford fit to tow :D
