Altit Fort...The word Altit means this side down and is a Tibetan word. The people of Altit are said to belong to the white Huns, although not much research has gone into the matter. It is said that the present language Bruchiski was brought here by the white Huns in 47 A.D. The first name for Altit village was Hunukushal, meaning the village of Huns. The Huns came from the Huang-Ho valley in China. The name later changed to Broshal, translated as a village of Bruchiski speakers. They were spirit worshippers as Shamanism was in practice. In the 15th century Islam was introduced.

Nice pictures, and incredible trip. Thank-you very much for sharing! That is beautiful country.

Did the Prado in your group run ok? In Canada they are known to overheat and crack the head if not driven/maintained carefully. Personally mine has run well with no problems.

@GTSSportCoupe ..........this prado has 2Lt engine and amazingly it went smooth all the way doing 1300ft rough roads in some places it was 2300km plus trip and it was fit but yes there was one place were i felt power less but it was bec of height and i increased the fuel on it then it got over heated but after reducing it back to its position it went smooooth all the way :)........ i love prado for its narowness , light weight and for front visibilty near bumper ..
