They said that certain captives at 'GITMO' were "tortured" when they were water-boarded.

Pffffffft.......!

I'll show you 'Torture'. Try spending a couple hours pressure washing at 3100 psi with an extension pole moved out to 12 feet, that my friend is TORTURE!

Jeeeeez......my back and shoulders will never forgive me. ;)

That looks heavy as hell.

I went though the yearly cruel and unusual punishment myself a few weekends ago. A good solid 8hrs over 2 days.

The good thing about a super long wand is that a few inches of arm movement translates to 3 or 4 feet at the business end. It's a little more weight, but well worth it!

Getting ready to finish up today. Just need to do part of the driveway, but I have a large rotating disc attachment for that and of course its on the ground.

Yes, the extension pole (a must have) is pretty heavy, but mine is designed to be held down at your hip. Then...as you say, a slight amount of movement equates to a large 'sweep' at the upper end. I use a turbo nozzle, so it covers even more area. Still its a hell of an isometric exercise, especially at my age.

The other thing using an extended wand...is that eventually...you're going to get soaked with all the spray (and crud) coming off of whatever you are washing overhead. Yeah, you can attack it at an angle (work ahead with the nozzle) but sooner or later you're going to get soaked. Not all together a bad thing in the Texas heat.

Oh well....usually just a once a year event. Got to go down some Ibuprofen and a cold beer and go get started. Be done with it ...until next year.

You are supposed to hire kids to do that.;)

I'd be all for that....but the average 'kid' these days not only wouldn't be interested, but they'd do a crappy job if you did hire them.

I'll just continue to do it (once a year) until I can't anymore, torture or not. :)

Hire? I just made my own ;)
